Abbots Bromley is internationally known for its annual Horn Dance traditionally held on the Monday following the first Sunday after 4 September. Most of the village lies within a conservation area, with more than 40 buildings being listed as of architectural or historic interest. There is a private girls school St Mary's and St Anne's (a boarding and day school for girls aged 4 to 18) and the Parish Church of St Nicholas (c13th century). Although the village has developed as a flourishing residential centre, new housing has been carefully integrated so that the charm of the village has been retained.
