Newborough Population: 379 (1991 Census)

Newborough is a small compact village with the River Swarbourne running through its centre. All Saints Church, with its grey and red sandstone and striking tower and spire was dedicated in 1901. The custom, and art, of well dressing takes place in the village. Every May day people come from all over the county and beyond to look at the wells and join in the festivities.
